Electronic Speed controller 60A 3-6S SBEC FOXY G2

Item number: 1RC31025 / KAV32.31025
EAN: 8595241387659

The new generation of programmable microprocessor controllers for brushless motors ("sensorlees") for hobby and sport aircraft models with LiPo/Li-ion /LiFe battery supply. These controllers offer many new programming features compared to previous FOXY controllers. G2 controllers use the advanced technology of optimal control and greatly improve the throttle response and efficiency effectiveness. The design of this controller emphasizes long-term resilience and resistance that the large models with larger number of servos require. The controllers are equipped with powerful BEC with selectable output voltage. This allows receiver and servo power to be supplied from the flight battery. The special Programming card KAVAN PRO, offered separately, is used for easy controller setup.

DESCRIPTION AND CONTROLLER FUNCTIONS:
- Controller with high performance 32bit microprocessor ARM M4 with clock frequency up to 72 MHz; compatible with most brushless motors.
- This controller is suitable for most brushless motors with a battery supply 3-6S LiPo/LI-ion/LiFe.
- BEC system with microprocessor for high noise immunity, reducing loss of control.
- Optimal control significantly improves throttle response and effectiveness control and reduces controller temperature.
- Powerful BEC system with selectable output voltage 5.2 or 6.0 or 7.4 V and with the peak and continuous load 8A and 20 A. The BEC is separated from the other regulator circuits, so the correct function is maintained in case of destruction of power boards with MOSFET transistors.
- Start-ups - normal/soft start-up/very soft start-up are suitable for normal propeller aircraft models.
- The programming and adjustment is easy with the help of a transmitter or a Programming card KAVAN PRO.
- The special programming cable for connecting the controller to the LED programming card allows to program the controller whenever and wherever. (Please refer to the instructions for the FProgramming card KAVAN PRO).
- Brake startup/Normal/Proportional/Reverse can effectively shorten an approach or landing.
- Protection functions: Startup protection, controller thermal protection, capacitor thermal protection, overload protection, current limiting, abnormal supply voltage protection, and control signal loss protection, all of which extend the controller's service life.
- Gas calibration for a perfect match to the gas path from your RC set.

PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS:
- Brake status: brake off, normal brake (with an intensity in 7 levels) proportional brake (operated with the throttle control: 0-20% deviation of the controller corresponds to 100-0% of the brake, 20-100% deviation of the controller corresponds to 0-100% of the throttle), reverse (allows a motor rotation reversal with the help of another channel with a toggle switch).
- Brake intensity: The brake intensity is adjustable from 1 to 7 for the brake status "normal brake".
- Motor shutdown: The soft shutdown: the controller decreases the power step by step to 50% of the full power during 3 seconds after the activation of the undervoltage protection. The hard shutdown: the motor is shut down immediately.
- Number of LiPo cells: We recommend a manual setting for the 100% reliable function of the undervoltage protection. The controller automatically calculates the number of battery cells according to the rule "3.7 V for one cell" if you select the automatic detection.
- Voltage protection: The undervoltage protection is adjustable at the interval of 2.8-3.8 V/cell; of course, you can turn off the undervoltage protection.
- BEC voltage: The output voltage of the BEC voltage regulator is adjustable to 5.2 V, 6 V or 7.4 V.
- Start-up: Normal startup; soft startup (with a slow start for motors with large propeller, with gearbox, or smaller impellers); very soft startup (with a very slow start for motors with large propeller, gearbox or impellers of 90 mm.).
- Timing: adjustable degrees 0-30°.
- Revolutions: Clockwise/counterclockwise.
- DEO Freewheel: You can turn this function on or off; it can affect better linearity or smooth throttle response.

PROTECTION FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROLLER:
- Protection during start-up: The controller measures the motor speed during start-up. In case the speed does not increase or the increase is unstable, the regulator considers this situation as a bad start. In case the throttle is less than 15% at this moment, the controller will try to restart automatically; in case the throttle is more than 15%, you will have to pull the throttle all the way down to restart the engine.
- Thermal protection of the regulator: in case the temperature of the regulator exceeds 110 degrees, the engine starts to "drag" which means that the thermal protection is activated. If at this moment you pull the throttle below 60%, the "grinding" stops and the regulator then starts to give such power that corresponds to the throttle position. If you pull the gas above 60%, it will start "grinding" again. When switching on, the temperature of the regulator must not exceed 70 degrees, otherwise it will be impossible to start the engine.
- Protection in case of loss of gas signal: the controller immediately switches off the motor in case the transmitter signal is missing for 0.25s, in order to avoid a big damage that could occur because of the fast rotating rotor and propeller.
- Overload protection: The controller will stop or restart the motor automatically if its load suddenly increases.
- Current limiting: In case the current draw exceeds the maximum allowed value, the controller will switch the motor off immediately and then back to normal operation. If then the current draw still exceeds the maximum allowed value, the motor will be switched off completely.

Tip: When switching on the controller for the first time, perform the gas calibration according to the instructions. Only after that you can use the controller and set other parameters with the help of a t Programming card KAVAN PRO KAV32.31035.
