The Extron plug mould 10X allows you to cast ‘handles’ on the 10 most popular model connectors.
The Extron plug mould is made of CNC-milled aluminium and is therefore durable.

The application is very simple (see pictures). All you need is a commercially available hot glue gun.

1. wet the inside of the plug mould with a commercially available release agent, e.g. wax spray, WD40 etc.
2. insert the plug or socket with the cable already soldered into the mould and seal with the upper part of the mould
3. press hot glue into the centre hole until it swells out of the side outlet holes
4. after briefly cooling down, demould the plug and remove the sprue with a sharp knife - finished!

ATTENTION Please avoid short circuits! Risk of fire and explosion! The aluminium plug shape is conductive! Only solder de-energised cables.
