Exclusive model development in collaboration with Grob Aircraft
The design of the exclusive Robbe Grob G 120TP was based on original plans provided by Grob Aircraft, based in Tussenhausen-Mattsies, in the Swabian region of Germany. In this project we placed particular emphasis on accurate rendition of detail features. But it was not only its appearance that was important: naturally we wanted the model to have exactly the same level of performance as the full-size aircraft.

The full-size
The G120 TP is a two-seat aerobatic military trainer powered by a RR 250-B17F turboprop engine. The trainer is primarily constructed using modern composite materials, and has been developed and optimised to meet the latest criteria for its future use. The machine is already operated as a jet trainer by the armed forces of many nations.

The model
Our model of the G120 TP has a wingspan of 1700 mm, and is the first and exclusive scale rendition of the type; further machines of different construction will follow.
The Grob G120 TP, with its comprehensive fittings such as electric retractable undercarriage, numerous injection-moulded plastic detail fittings, sophisticated five-blade propeller with its characteristic sonorous sound, and potent brushless motor, is not the sort of model to be encountered every day at model flying sites. Like the original machine, our model is designed with aerobatics in mind. This ensures that the sporting aspects of flying are not negated by the need for scale appearance.
