Robbe 88841000 HUB-4.1 with high-current and wing connector

S-BUS 4- way distribution unit with wing connector and stabilised receiver power supply.

Compact S-BUS distribution unit fitted with all connectors. The receiver is connected using a 50 cm long lead, the voltage is stabilised at 5.9 V.
The wing connection is completed using 50 cm long 1 mm² cable with latching wing connectors.
For models with thin airfoils the wing-fitting socket with two servo leads should be used. Different lead lengths are available: 30 / 50 cm for power models and short-span models, and also 50 / 130 cm for gliders with 4...5 m wingspan. Additional servos can be connected using HUB-2 leads.

Alternatively the S-BUS wing-fitting socket with 1 mm² connecting cable can be used in models with a thicker wing section. In this case the servo is connected using solder-free S-BUS clamp connectors. Servos can be connected safely and easily in all wing panels without resorting to soldering.
In total up to ten S-BUS servos can be connected directly to the HUB4.1, and further small servos with low current drain to the S-BUS receiver.

The elevator and rudder are connected to the HUB-2 lead, which is about 120 cm long; further servos should be connected via additional HUB-2 distributors.

The power supply is connected using a standardised high- current connector (30 A) with encapsulated hot-melt cable socket. Either using the high-current switch harness, No. 8892, or alternatively with a standard commercial limiter or a dual power supply unit.

The power supply and receiver are spatially separated in this arrangement, i.e. the receiver can be installed in a position in the model favourable for radio reception - for example, under the canopy - while the remainder of the wiring remains in the fuselage.

A range of ready-made NiMH and LiPo receiver batteries is available to suit the HUB-4.1 S-BUS system; they are fitted with the 30 A hot- melt high-current connector as standard.
Current rating: Continuous 8A, intermittent 16A.
