FMS Pitts V2 PNP - 140 cm - Combo incl. Reflex Gyro System
Item Number: DPFMS126P-REF
Item code: 4251014712533
The Pitts Special is a light aerobatic biplane designed by Curtis Pitts. Since its first flight in 1944, it has had many competition successes and dominated world aerobatic competition in the 1960s and 1970s. And today, it remains a very popular competition aircraft.
FMS builds on the successful Pitts V1 biplane and now launches the V2 version of the biplane with a 1400mm wingspan.
Robust and well thought-out construction
Thanks to the connector plugs built into the wing structure, the wings can be attached to and detached from the fuselage with just a few screws. The slide-on wing struts are easy, quick and safe to install.
Thanks to the sturdy construction of EPO hard foam material, the model is also forgiving of many a hard landing. Foam parts can be quickly and permanently repaired with suitable superglue if damaged. Usually no glue is needed to assemble the model.
Powerful drive
With the powerful brushless drive in combination with the 50A brushless controller, not only the model, but also the adrenaline level is chased upwards. An oversized battery compartment accommodates a 6S LiPo and gives the pilot enough power to perform the most spectacular aerobatic maneuvers.
Built-in electronics
The Pitts V2 comes ready to fly out of the box with all electronics completely installed. BL motor, Hobbywing controller and the 17g servos for aileron, rudder and elevator are all ready installed. All that is needed is a suitable battery and the remote control system.
Features:
- PNP model made of robust and durable EPO hard foam material
- Powerful brushless outrunner motor, high performance controller and servos with metal gearbox already installed
- screwed construction, ready to fly after a few steps
- many scale details like rivets, cockpit and pilot figure
- ready painted
- 2-blade propeller included
- oversized battery compartment for powerful 6S batteries
- including richly illustrated, German-language assembly instructions
Reflex stabilization system (included in this set)
Included with this set is a Reflex system programmed specifically for this aircraft. This electronic stabilization system is designed to assist, but not interfere with, pilot control commands. The Reflex system works with both PPM and SBUS inputs, and works natively with all common rudder control systems. If the Reflex system is connected to a 3-channel switch, you can choose between 3 different modes:
- Stabilized mode: when the control sticks are released, the model is automatically brought into a neutral flight position, which offers beginners and inexperienced pilots in particular a lot of safety in dicey situations.
- Optimized mode: The gyro system of the Reflex system counteracts external influences such as gusts of wind or crosswinds and keeps the model precisely in a stable position.
- Off: The Reflex System can be switched off completely.
The Reflex System is set specifically for this flight model. No further programming is required, only installation and connection in the model. The Reflex System can be connected to all receivers with at least 4 channels.
