The FlexJet combines modern aerodynamics with Sportjet practice and performance.
The modern basic concept includes innovative features such as a clipped delta wing, LERX's (Leading Edge Root Extensions) and a Dog Tooth leading edge, which offers excellent properties through a wide angle of attack.

The FlexJet was designed by the Flex Innovation Team, which includes Top Gun Champion and the internationally renowned jet designer David Ribbe. The aerodynamic collaboration with F3A World Champion Quique Somenzini is one of the most important challenges for the FlexJet. The construction consists of EPO foam with several carbon spars and connecting tubes in the wings and tail units. If required, plywood is also used.

The inlet lips and channels are designed to provide efficient thrust over a wide speed range. Particularly impressive are the take-off thrust and the acceleration. The plastic tailpipe is lightweight, provides a uniform flow of air and allows access to the internal components. The trunk-mounted main landing gear is mounted near the center of gravity for easy ground handling and easy take-off and landing. The long, towed suspension struts compensate for the bumps and also allow easy landings. The time control of retractable landing gear and doors is automatic. The high hull, a centrally mounted wing and a large rudder make the knife flight a breeze. All-Moving "Flying Stabs" provide excellent elevator control at all speeds and can even be used as aileron (Tailerons) in certain high-performance flight modes.

The Aura 8 advanced flight control system features a sophisticated 3-axis gyro that makes the jet fly like it's bigger and gusts out the wind! As a result, the pilot has no limits. With the pre-programmed Aura 8, the FlexJet comes with advanced, expertly tuned functions and parameters. An example of this is the "Tailerons" expert programs, where the pendulum elevator functions as aileron and aileron in a flight mode, without additional user programming and with a simple 6-channel transmitter.

These positive characteristics and features create an incomparable and significantly better flight feeling than any typical foam jet. This makes the FexJet simply incomparable and sets new standards in its class.
