The super thin superglue (cyanoacrylate adhesive) for modelling and also for general use. It is supplied in a bottle with an application attachment.

The super thin superglue with a very low viscosity is ideal for bonding non-absorbent and absorbent materials that fit together perfectly - typical applications include gluing RC car tyres to wheel rims. It bonds wood, most plastics, metal, rubber, glass, ceramics, cork and paper.

Typical type of application: The adhesive is applied to the joint of perfectly aligned parts that are joined together.

- Density: 1.04 g/cm³
- Optimum temperature for application: 23 °C
- Curing time (depends on the temperature and the type of materials bonded): 1-15 s
- Full curing: 24 h
- Optimum gap width between bonded parts: Zero
- The cured adhesive is soluble in: Acetone, dimethylformamide, acetonitrile.

Recommended cleaner/debonder: KAV9979 KAVAN CA Cleaner 20g

Removal of excess uncured adhesive: Cloth or paper tissue moistened with KAV9979 CA cleaner or acetone (if the materials to be bonded are resistant to it).

Adhesive thinning: If the superglue becomes thicker, this is a sign that it has already partially polymerised and is losing its original properties - they cannot be reversed by "thinning". If you need a "thinner" superglue, simply use the type with a lower viscosity. Individual types of KAVAN CA superglues can be mixed together to achieve optimum viscosity.

Use as a filler, suitable fillers: Microballoon filler KAV9980 KAVAN CA filler.

Suitable for bonding: soft and hard wood, chipboard, plywood, metal, ceramics, porcelain, glass and carbon laminates, glass and carbon fabrics and fibres and many plastics (incl. EPP and EPO).

Unsuitable for bonding: foamed polystyrene, polyethylene, Teflon and silicone.

Storage: in tightly closed packaging, cool, dry and dark (at temperatures between +2 °C and +10 °C). Do not expose the adhesive to temperatures below +2 °C.

Shelf life: If the conditions for proper storage are observed, we guarantee the shelf life in the unopened original packaging for a period of 1 year while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
