ORATEX® ZACKENBAND is produced as a heat-sealable product in widths of 17 - 150 mm and in all ORATEX® colors.

Wherever seams need to be reinforced or overlaps need to be strengthened (e.g., nose area), ORATEX® ZACKENBAND is used.
It can also be used as a turbulator tape.

In original aircraft, zigzag tape is used to cover the stitching of the covering.
