The motors of the XM2221EG, XM2225EG and XM2230EG series are suitable for the 200-400g F5K and ASFC P5B class.
They are also ideal for the 400-800g RES (eRES) class. Thanks to the small diameter of 22m, these motors can be used in small fuselages for 26-32mm spinners. The rear housing section has an integrated cooling fan. The use of a "turbo" spinner with cooling air intake is therefore recommended. Depending on the motor variant, controllers of type 22-45A with timing 15" (medium timing) are recommended.

Series "EG"/"EGL" are especially designed for the needs of electric gliding. The smallest types are ideal for F5K, R.E.S, P5B and similar applications. Applications. Motors with a long motor shaft for prototypical glider models are also available, as well as motors in an encapsulated housing for particularly narrow fuselages. "XM2833EGL" features a shaft/motor extension in the form of a gearbox housing as a special feature. However, NO gearbox is integrated in this case. It is only used for simplified installation in ultra-narrow hulls.
