The KIRA 480 motors are brushless internal rotor motors that have been specially optimised for the requirements of gliders, RC cars and racing boat drives. Thanks to the integrated fan, optimum cooling is ensured at high motor speeds, while the gearbox enables high torques with low weight.

The slim design fits into almost any fuselage and the high efficiency of the entire drive, including the large propeller, enables amazing flight performance.

Various finely tuned speeds are available for each motor size. In addition, the KIRA 480 motors have a very wide bandwidth, so that only one gearbox variant per motor type is required to cover the entire range of applications. This makes motor selection considerably easier for you.
For gliders, motor models, helicopters and small aerobatic models up to 450 W continuous power.
This allows gliders up to 3.5 kg, motor models up to 2.2 kg and aerobatic models up to 1.6 kg to be motorised effectively.

The KIRA 480 is also ideally suited for 450-size helicopters. These are motorised very powerfully with the KIRA 480 – flying fun guaranteed.
