RadioLink Transmitter T8FB BT with Receiver R8EF

Article no.: RL0030
EAN: 9890500030475

8-channel RC set 2.4GHz FHSS with cross sticks, 2 switches, 2 encoders, reverse switch for channel 1-4. Receiver R8EF. When connected to a PC or smartphone (Android), it can be programmed like a conventional computer transmitter.

T8FB BT is an 8-channel transmitter for hobby modellers, which you can also use as a classic 8-channel transmitter with cross sticks, 2 switches, 2 rotary encoders and reverse switch for channels 1-4. If you connect it to a control program in your PC or to an application in your smartphone with Android or iOS, it turns into an intelligent computer transmitter with which you can set basic functions such as servo reversal, mixer for flying wing and delta. It even has two freely programmable mixers (in the application for Android 4). Thanks to these functions, it allows you to control all currently common models: Acro models, gliders, multicopters, cars and other land vehicles and ships. It has a practical housing that fits very well in the hand, with years of proven ergonomic arrangement of the controls.

Controls:
The main functions are controlled by precise cross sticks with adjustable force using neutralising springs. It is possible to convert the axis for throttle to the left or right. This allows you to select stick modes 1-4. The digital trims have an acoustic signal for the step sequence and the centre position. They are slightly off-centre and easy to reach. Additional channels can control the two rotary encoders on the top of the transmitter and two switches (one with three positions and one with two positions) can serve as channel switches or for switching programme functions on/off (after setting in a PC or smartphone). The controls are assignable (with PC or smartphone).

Transmitter power supply:
T8FB BT can be powered by a variety of different batteries/rechargeable batteries: 4 alkaline batteries in the supplied holder; 4-cell NiMH battery pack (size AA, battery AA cells) or 2-3 LiPo, Li-Ion cell pack. When the transmitter is connected to a PC or smartphone, the battery voltage is displayed, an undervoltage warning can be set. We recommend our 4.8V NIMH battery pack with low self-discharge (Eneloop, RayLong), custom-made for this transmitter and equipped with a charging connector.

Transmission system:
T8FB BT uses FHSS transmission with frequency hopping, which guarantees long range, reliability and immunity to interference. It does not allow telemetry transmission.

Software:
When connected to a PC or smartphone, you get a variety of transmitter setting options. You can retrieve existing settings from the transmitter, change them as needed and reload them into the transmitter, save them in a PC or smartphone, or load the settings saved there into the transmitter. The control programme or application has four menus:

SERVO Monitor for servo travel display of all channels.
BASIC menu for setting the reverse switch function (for both directions regardless of centre), subtrim, failsafe and servo speed.
ADVANCED menu for setting dual rate deflections, ATTITUDE function (up to 6-step switch for flight modes of drones), mixer for delta and flying wing.
SYSTEM menu for assigning channels 5-8, cross stick modes 1-4, setting the audible low voltage warning of the transmitter battery and two freely programmable mixers (4 in the application for Android, where you can also set a 7-point throttle curve and both/expo deflections for channels1-4).

Micro USB socket (at the bottom of the transmitter) is used to update the firmware and to program the transmitter with a PC.

Bluetooth module is used to program the transmitter with a smartphone or tablet running the Android or iOS operating system.

Socket Teacher-Student is used to control models via a dual control system with two Radiolink transmitters connected via a teacher-student cable. T8FB BT can be used as a student transmitter. In addition to the classic cable (1RL0058), a wireless connection can also be used via a receiver with PPM output, which is connected to the teacher-pupil socket of the teacher transmitter via a special adapter (1RL0056). The receiver is paired with the pupil transmitter.

Transmitter belt:
T8FB BT can be attached to the centre hinge and worn around the neck (sold separately).

Compatible receivers - without telemetry, usual range: R8EF, R8FM Mini.

The set includes:
Transmitter T8FB BT
8-channel receiver R8EF
