description
The Power Switch 25 is used to switch on a receiving system safely and without wear, and to supply it with high current for the best servo performance. In order to be able to use the optimal performance of strong and fast servos at all, a power supply is required, which leads the necessary high currents without loss directly to the servo sockets on the receiver. The PS-25 provides these safety functions while minimizing components prone to failure. This results in optimal protection against vibration and contact problems.
The switching output stages used ensure maximum and loss-free current flow, the internal resistance is considerably lower than the contact resistance of mechanical switches. Due to the large cable cross-sections in the supply lines to the receiver, the maximum current is fed directly to the servo sockets, which means that the servos can only develop their possible power and performance.
The PS-25 has the tried-and-tested T-plug system as battery connection, on the receiver side there are 2 original Futaba plug cables (contact socket). These special contacts exclusively allow continuous currents of up to 6A, the highest value for this plug-in system. The cable cross section is 0.5mm. The negative conductor is made of silver. This means that the full power of the battery switch or the battery used can be passed on directly to the servo cables.
The electronic high-current switch eliminates all wear or vibration problems of mechanical switches. To switch on, just press the ON button, which then only switches the switching electronics (and thus the receiver and servos) ON, after that the button is no longer effective. The operating current always flows through the power electronics, not through the actuation buttons or switches.
NOTE: Input voltage = output voltage, no voltage reduction, the servos are supplied directly with the battery voltage!
