Fokker D21 (ESA/EPA)
The Fokker D.XXI was a fighter aircraft built by the Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker in 1936.
The fighter was planned for use by the troops in the Dutch Indies. The plans envisaged a cheap and stable fighter with medium performance.
The order for the Dutch East Indies was cancelled by the Dutch Air Force and 36 aircraft were ordered for domestic use. The first flight took place on 27 March 1936.
This was an ESA/EPA (Elektro Simply Aircombat) class model.
This Aircombat class was created to quickly enter the well known Aircombat scene with easy to build models. The models fly very easy with and without streamer and are ideal for dogfights. The competition rules can be found at www.http://rc-aircombat.de.
Due to the EPP material used, the models are very robust and can withstand crashes more easily. Thanks to the simple construction you have the model quickly built and it can also be easily repaired.
