Extron X6636 Charly ARF / 1500mm

ARF finished model based on the original construction plans of the engineer Ing. Wilfried Klinger. The Charly ARF was optimized for modern electric drives and convinces with fantastic flight characteristics. The model is fully aerobatic and completely uncritical to fly over a wide speed range. The question was, can you improve the cult model Charly even further? The clear answer: yes, you can.

Thanks to modern manufacturing methods such as laser cutting of components and selected, light materials. A modern brushless electric drive also contributes to enormous weight savings. The take-off weight could therefore be reduced by around 1000g (you read that correctly: 1 kilogram). The wide bonnet provides a slight braking effect for downward figures today, as it did then in aerobatics, and thus for a smooth and even flight pattern.

The Charly ARF flies very well through all aerobatic figures with a 3-cell LiPo battery (capacity 3500-4500mAh recommended). Pilots who are particularly hungry for performance can also use a 4-cell LiPo battery (14.8V) on request. The Charly ARF is then overpowered and rises vertically at around half throttle.
