The choice between EP or GP in the CALMATO ALPHA 40 Sports allows you to select your preferred power source. Both variants embody the definitive stability of the CALMATO series with optimal maneuverability, allowing beginners to perform stunts like loops and rolls.

This kit is factory-assembled and expertly covered with high-quality printed film. Kyosho's comprehensive design and construction ensure that no gluing is required. The main wing halves are connected with an aluminum pin and can be separated for compact and easy transport. Motor mount, motor holder, tires, spinner, and connecting parts are included. Only a few separate parts are required to get it in the air, so you can simply enjoy the sporty flight performance of this affordable low-wing aircraft.

Standard 2-stroke 40-46 class engines can be installed without modification. A fuel-resistant coating protects the interior for increased durability. The fuselage structure allows access to the fuel tank and battery from the top of the nose section for easy maintenance.

The aircraft is conveniently sized, but it offers enough space for access to the R/C system and connections. The servo board is fixed, so no difficult steps are required to complete it. The motor mount has a 25 mm mounting screw spacing and is compatible with rear-mounted outrunner motors.

The airplane comes with a stylish, pre-painted cowling for EP use, creating a different atmosphere than the GP version. Practice with a 4-cell Li-Po battery or enjoy sporty flying with a 5-cell Li-Po battery.

The aluminum tube connection joins the main wing halves and can be separated for transport. Independent aileron servos control each aileron and function as flaperons when used with an R/C system with mixing capability. The tricycle landing gear enables stable landings and takeoffs. The nose gear connected to the elevator provides ground control.
