The RC model G 109 is an exact replica (scale 1:6) of the two-seater GRP motorised glider G 109 from the Grob works in Mindelheim/Bay. After a sensationally short construction time of 21 weeks, the prototype of the new generation of motor gliders was presented ready to fly on 14 March 1980.

The outstanding flight performance of the original machine could be transferred to the RC model, as well as the good take-off and landing characteristics. The model is particularly suitable for the installation of 4-stroke engines with a displacement of up to approx. 7.5 cc; however, electric motors with or without gearboxes can also be installed in the lightweight GRP fuselage.

All installations are easily accessible when the canopy is removed. This means that the model leaves nothing to be desired in terms of ‘maintenance work’.

The model kit contains: Clear building plan with building instructions and parts list, GRP prefabricated fuselage, ABS moulded parts, canopy, finished Abachi planked polystyrene surfaces, steel landing gear, wheels, all small parts for RC installation such as control horns, clevises, hinges, decals.

This kit is produced in the original design from the 1980/1990s and is aimed at experienced modellers.
