This kit has been meticulously redesigned by Dane-RC to maintain the elegant appearance and shape intended by original creator Dick Twomey.
This model is a pleasure to assemble as well as fly, thanks to the high precision parts that mesh perfectly.
The Leprechaun XL is the big brother of the Leprechaun. The additional center section gives it a remarkable wingspan of 4120 mm.
This version is delivered with an enlarged rudder.

The Leprechaun XL is perfectly suitable as a glider or electric flight model, for the electric version you will find an optional conversion kit under accessories (item number: 690287).
The pilot can make the fuselage, for easier transport, divisible. An optional conversion kit is offered for this purpose. (part number: 690288).

To cover the Leprechaun XL, you will need about 12 mtrs of foil in the base color and about 3 mtrs in the contrast color to make it a Dane RC version. The film we used on our Leprechaun is Oralight transparent red for the base and Oralight camdium yellow for the contrast
