The E-flite® Extra 300 1.3m is a prototypical aerobatic model with unlimited potential. The fully foamed model impresses not only with its size and legendary looks, but also with bulletproof performance. Behind the lightweight EPO airframe are composite reinforcements that not only make the model durable, but also give it the strength needed for precise aerobatics. Digital metal gear servos emphasize durability and allow the large control surfaces to deflect to extreme angles.

The strong landing gear and large wheels make takeoffs and landings from grass as comfortable as from a paved runway. Under the hood is a powerful brushless motor with a bulletproof 60A regulator, and the lightweight wooden propeller delivers outstanding thrust and crisp response to throttle commands. The parts count is manageable, so the model is ready to fly faster than it takes to charge the required 4S battery. Set the model to "mild" or "wild" and enjoy the precise aerobatic maneuverability and 3D capability that helps pro pilots conjure up flawless flights. Already own a Spektrum ™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft allow you to get in the air faster than ever before. They come with the propulsion system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver installed. So all you have to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, complete the final assembly and you're ready to fly!

This Bind-N-Fly Basic model features exclusive AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X (Artificial Stabilization-3-aXis) works behind the scenes to balance the influence of wind and turbulence. The result is a stability and precision that makes you feel like you're piloting a larger and perfectly tuned flight model.

If this is your first 3D model or you simply want additional safety while you get familiar with the model, then you can activate the optional SAFE® Select attitude limiter, which is already built into the receiver.

With SAFE Select enabled, you get:

Transverse and Longitudinal Axis Limitation:
This mode restricts movement about the lateral and longitudinal axes and prevents the model from turning on its back. It also prevents the model from climbing or descending too steeply

Automatic leveling:
The model automatically returns to a normal level flight attitude when the sticks are released. This feature is also helpful during takeoff and landing to keep the wings level.

Simple switch assignment - no programming required:
The process to assign a switch on the transmitter to the SAFE Select feature is very simple, requires no programming and is done in a few seconds.

If you don't want to enable SAFE Select features, just bind the receiver normally and it will function like a normal AS3X receiver.
