The Ranger 1800 from FMS is a trainer model with a wingspan of 180cm, which is ideal for beginners with its good-natured flight characteristics. But experienced pilots will also be impressed by its aerobatic abilities and STOL capabilities (take-offs within 3 metres).

The model is constructed from ultra-light EPO rigid foam material and offers exceptional lift at extremely low wing loading, even at slow speeds.

Reliable propulsion
Of course, a great aeroplane also needs a great and, above all, reliable propulsion system. FMS has equipped the Ranger with a 750KV outrunner on a 45A controller, allowing the Ranger to go vertical on 4S if required.

Robust tripod landing gear
With a patented spring-loaded nose landing gear and a robust metal main landing gear, the Ranger 1800 absorbs almost any hard ground contact. The durable, oversized wheels are specially designed for rough field use.

Realistic lighting
The Ranger 1800 has pre-installed LED lighting, which makes the model appear realistic with navigation lights and land lights.

Optional floats
In addition to the metal landing gear, an optional float set with integrated rudder is available separately, making take-offs and landings on water possible.

Quick assembly
Experienced pilots can assemble the model ready to fly in just 3 minutes thanks to its bolted construction. The model is therefore assembled much faster than the battery is charged.
