Airplane racing really gets the circulation going again. 4 new racing flight models in silhouette design are available.
Brushless motor and Lipoly batteries provide high excess power. Modern semi-rigid airfoils make perfect aerobatics possible.
The "Firefly", a Cassutt II was built in 1965 by Kenneth H. Burmeister of Kirkland. After initial failed attempts, it did not qualify until 1968 when it was 12th at 156.76 mph in Reno. In 1970, however, it qualified again at 177.924 mph. That was the last time anyone saw this plane in the original. Now it is back, in new refreshing freshness and this time with equal performance.
