The Diana 3 from Glider_it is a beautiful RC replica of the original (Diana Sailplanes) in scale 1:4.
The original has a wingspan of 18 meters and is an aerodynamic masterpiece.
The idea behind the new Diana 3 was originally conceived during the Grand Prix competition in Chile in 2010, when several Czech and Polish pilots wanted to use the KKB fuselage and combine it with a wing from the Diana-2.
A completely new 18-metre wing was designed by the Doctor of Aerodynamics, Professor Krzysztof Kubrynski, and combined with the KKB fuselage. In January 2017, the new design was finally ready and named Diana 3.

The Glider_it Diana 3 is a fully GRP/CFRP model and comes in 2 versions.
The canopy must still be glued to the frame. So you can make your cockpit as you like.
On the wings only the control horns have to be glued in and the servos installed.
Due to the modified airfoil, based on an airfoil by Norbert Habe, this Diana 3 has a very wide speed range.

Flaps and ailerons are already prepared for cross linkage and made in the form of elastic flap. The elevator is also constructed as such.

Product layout:
The Diana 3 is available in 2 different versions, both manufactured in Extralight technology:
1.) Version FS Xtralight Heavy 160g. Wing made of GRP with CFRP spar and single heavy CFRP layer underneath (160gr. CFRP).
2.) Version FS Performance Xtralight 90g. Wing made of GRP with CFRP spar and single light high modulus CFRP layer underlaid (90gr. CFRP).

Colour:
The standard colour of the Diana is like the original white with red winglets.

Electric drive:
Suitable for propulsion is a FES system or a +Jet 90 folding impeller from 6-12S.
