SB-9 D-Box yellow-red split wing Valenta Model
The competition sailer SB 9 of the academic gliding group of the TH Braunschweig was created in 1969 and served with its 22 m span as a template for the again enlarged SB10. The first flight of the SB 9 was on January 23, 1969 and at that time the design and performance of the SB 9 was far ahead of its time. To date, the SB 9 has lost none of its charm and is still one of the most elegant designs on the sailplane sky. We have a semi-scale version in full-GFK execution launched The scale is 1: 5. Due to the profiling and design, it is suitable for slope as well as for thermals. On request, we supply the necessary servo frames made of CNC machined plywood for the servos.
