Aeronaut CAMcarbon Z folding propeller 13.0x 10.0" 723961

CAMcarbon folding propellers have been the standard in electric flight for many years. Reason enough to further develop this series. The new Z propellers have been specially optimised for even tighter folding on narrow glider fuselages. Even with box-shaped wooden fuselages such as our Triple, Helios or Soleo models, the new shape of the CAMcarbon Z allows the blades to fit much closer to the fuselage.

The blades fit all existing folding propeller systems that are designed to accept 8 mm blade roots. This means that the propellers can easily be used with our entire range of CN spinners and precision spinners.

However, the optimum result is achieved in combination with the Z-spinners (CN). Depending on the fuselage, folding without an intermediate gap is possible, which improves the aerodynamic performance as well as the appearance.

The profile section has been optimised in the root area. The material used is a plastic reinforced with carbon fibres.

The specified size of the folding propeller refers to the use of a 42 mm centre section. If smaller or larger centre pieces are used, the diameter and pitch will change accordingly.

Caution: Folding propellers may only be operated up to the specified maximum speed and in conjunction with a soft start of the motor. The maximum permissible speed can be found on the packaging of the propeller.
