The Z-spinners combine the advantages of the CN spinner (cool nose with cooling air openings) and the offset Z centre pieces. Thanks to the angled aluminium centre pieces, the folding propeller blades fit even closer to the fuselage and thus ensure less drag during gliding. The spinners with the centre pieces are designed for slim E-glider fuselages, but can also be advantageous for wooden fuselages in box construction, for example, if they are sanded round.

The centre pieces of the spinner sizes 32-42mm are interchangeable, e.g. 38mm spinner caps can be used with the centre piece of the 42mm spinner. These combination options offer further optimisation potential, as they allow finer tuning to the respective fuselage. The 30mm spinner has its own centre piece, which cannot be combined with the other spinner caps.

The Z-spinner contains a spinner cap (diameter 55mm) made of white plastic (very easy to paint), milled aluminium centre piece with integrated holder for clamping cone, special prop rubber for folding the propeller blades, mounting screws for spinner cap and propeller blades.

The diameter of the spinner cap is 55 mm. The centre distance (d) for this spinner is 52 mm. This means that the diameter of the propeller blades increases by 10 mm (0.39"). Example: A propeller with a 12" diameter effectively has a diameter of 12.39" on this centre piece (the size specifications for folding propellers always refer to the use of a centre piece with centre distance d=42 mm).

The 55 mm spinner fits very well on all model aircraft from Multiplex that are fitted with a 55 mm spinner.
