Affordable yet high-quality 12V quick charger with metal housing. For charging 1 ... 4 cell 3.7V lithium and LiPo batteries, with integrated equalizer.
After connecting the battery pack to the charger, the number of cells and thus the setting of the charging switch-off voltage (4.2 volts / cell) are automatically detected. Operating errors in the cell count setting are thus almost impossible. The battery capacity (charging current) can be set in a wide range of approx. 300 ... 3000 mAh (0.3 ... 3 A). Of course, higher capacity batteries can be connected, it only extends the charging time accordingly.
The charging current is also set almost automatically, based on the capacity setting (1C). The battery pack is charged with constant current until the charge end voltage of 4.2V / cell is reached. Thereafter, the voltage is kept constant and there is the residual charge in the form of a sloping current curve.
The integrated equalizer automatically adjusts the voltage level of the individual cells during the charging process.
The charger has an optical LED charging indicator, which also indicates when the battery is 95% charged.
By connecting the PLC 100-240V - 5A power supply no. 8485, the charger can also be operated on the 230 Volt mains and thus becomes a universal 230 V AC and 12 V DC charger.
