The LiPo TOP equalizer for 2 ... 12 LiPo / LiFe cells, is connected between the LiPo charger and the LiPo battery.
During charging, it automatically brings the individual series-connected lipo cells of a battery pack to the same voltage level. This is necessary because the individual cells reach different charge states or voltage levels during the discharge. Overcharging or deep discharge leads to permanent damage to the cells.
The parameters for end of charge voltage and charging current are set on the charger. Unlike the known Voltage Controllers, the Equalizer immediately corrects the cell voltage at the start of charging.

Overvoltage shutdown:
As a special safety function, the device offers an overvoltage shutdown. If a cell reaches a voltage of 4.3 volts, the charging process is interrupted immediately. To measure the voltage, all cells connected in series must be connected to the TOP equalizer via a sensor cable. The ready-made robbe LiPo batteries already have the corresponding connection.
Existing LiPo batteries can be retrofitted, corresponding voltage sensor cables are available separately.
