GT Hobbies Wattmeter 180A 1GT0112

Item no.: 800438
EAN: 0086544914980

Small DC wattmeter up to 6500W with current measurement in the range 0-180 A, voltage measurement 0-60 V, electrical charge measurement 0-65 Ah and energy measurement 0-6500 Wh in real time and memory for maximum values of current, voltage and power / power consumption.

Wattmeter 180 A can measure:

- DC voltage in real time 0-60 V with memory for minimum voltage value.
- DC current in real time 0-180 A with memory for maximum current value.
- Power / power consumption in real time 0-6554 W with memory for maximum value of power / power consumption.
- Amount of electrical charge passed through 0-65 Ah.
- Amount of electrical energy flowed through 0-6554 Wh.
- Time.

Wattmeter is a device that is indispensable in the control of drive systems and their optimisation.

- It can prevent damage to batteries, electric motors and speed controllers due to excessive current and helps you select the optimal propeller size or gear ratio depending on the motor and controller used.
- Allows you to control the load on the supply sources and set a safe voltage.
- Allows you to check the battery capacity and its load capacity.
- Allows you to check the actual consumption of the receiver and servos to decide whether to use a battery or a UBEC system with a greater load capacity.

Use of wattmeter

The supply source (e.g. drive battery) is connected to the input cables of the Wattmeter. The device / load (e.g. speed controller with motor) is connected to the output cables of the wattmeter. If the voltage of the measured source is below 4.8 V, the wattmeter electronics must be supplied by connecting the 4.8-6.0 V source to the socket on the left side (e.g. 4.8 V NiMH receiver battery).

The first line of the display shows the instantaneous current (A) and the instantaneous voltage (V). The second line on the right shows the instantaneous power / power consumption (W), on the left the data of the measuring time, the minimum voltage (Vm), the charge flowed through (Ah), the maximum current (Ap), the maximum power / power consumption (Wp) and electrical energy (Wh) with the period 2 s are displayed cyclically. Measuring period is 0.4 s.
