F8066 - 12-channel computer radio control system in hand-held form.
The very latest RC system technology in a stylish, ergonomically efficient package. All the controls are perfectly arranged and positioned, and make an important contribution to the overall impression of elegance.
The large, reflective graphic LCD screen, with a resolution of 255 x 96 dots, is the control centre of the system.
Model settings are entered and adjusted using the 3-D hot-key, supported by the graphical user ´interface. The menu system and method of ´programming are identical to those of the T14MZ system.
When the model and wing type are selected, the software automatically configures the appropriate mixer functions and sequence of control functions. It simply could hardly be easier.
The new PCM 2048 system offers twelve channels with a resolution of 2048 steps, and is around 40% faster than PCM 1024, which was the previous top-level system.
This amounts virtually to real-time control.
The modulation is switchable, and compatible with 9-channel PCM 1024 and 8- channel FM (PPM) 8. Integral frequency synthesizer with WFFS (G3) ransmission.
The transmitter is fully expanded as standard, with four analogue rotary controls, eight switches and six trimmer buttons, and requires no additional accessories.
Optional
General information
Language select, German / English
Model select, thirty internal model memories, can be expanded up to 1958 models using optional SD card (32MB - 1GB)
Eight-character model names, twelve-character user´s name
Operating hours timer, two timers, one linked to model memory
Unrestricted transmitter control assignment, channels 1 ... 14, mode select
Twelve proportional channels plus two switched channels
Function reverse for all channels, also hardware transmitter control reverse
Trainer mode with individual function transfer and mixed operation
Digital stick trims, optionally with normal, centre or ATL (asymmetrical) trim function. Option of group mode (effective in all flight modes) or single mode (effective only in the individual flight mode).
Freely selectable trims for each transmitter control (including switches and sliders), including digital buttons, rotary analogue control or rotary slider.
Servo travel adjustment with Limit function (ATV) for the twelve proportional channels.
Four stick functions, eight switches, four rotary controls.
Freely selectable transmitter controls and sequence for the twelve proportional channels and four virtual channels. Up to six switchable Dual Rate settings per function.
Alternative use of pre-programmed transmitter control settings from linear via exponential to 9-point (17-point) curve.
Separately variable speed setting and delay for both directions of travel.
Optional for group mode (effective in all flight modes) or single mode (effective only in the individual flight mode).
Eight flight modes per model memory, with priority, can be assigned any name.
Ten freely programmable mixers in each model memory. Pre-programmed transmitter control settings can be called up, from linear to 9-point curve; latter can be expanded to seventeen points.
Optionally with or without trim. Mix mode "stick to stick" or "stick to servo". Separate adjustment of delay and speed for switching mixer on and off. Mixers can be connected in series (cascaded); switches, transmitter control functions or virtual functions can be selected as transmitter controls.
With offset function and fine adjustment of mixer input value using rotary control, switch or stick.
Optionally for group mode (effective in all flight modes) or single mode (effective only in the individual flight mode).
Alternatively each programmable mixer can be switched from curve mixer to an offset mode. This offset mixer makes it possible to mix a maximum of four offset values per programmable mixer into any freely selectable functions, with separate delay and speed adjustment for switching on and off.
Optional time-controlled offset function for up to four functions; can be used as door sequencer.
Naturally, as an option this mixer function can also be activated for group mode (effective in all flight modes) or single mode (effective only in the individual flight mode).
Power model aircraft (Acro)
Comprehensive mixer menus for a vast range of power model types, from aeroplanes with one aileron servo to types with up to eight wing-mounted servos.
In addition to the choice of wing type, it is also possible to select between the following tail variants: normal, separate elevator with aileron function (ailvator) and V- tail.
Deltas or powered flying wings with two to eight wing-mounted servos can also be selected.
These mixer menus are pre-programmed to suit the model type, and contain all the essential mixer functions as standard; they just need to be called up.
Model gliders (Glider)
Comprehensive mixer menus are also available for a huge range of sailplane types, from gliders with one aileron servo to types with up to eight wing-mounted servos.
Optionally with and without power system.
In addition to the choice of wing type, it is also possible to select between the following tail variants: normal, separate elevator with aileron function (ailvator) and V- tail.
Flying wings with two to ten wing-mounted servos can also be selected.
These mixer menus are pre-programmed to suit the model type, and contain all the essential mixer functions as standard.
Model helicopters
The basic difference between the various mixer menus for model helicopters is the method of swashplate actuation. All the classic linkage types are included as standard: H1, H2, HR3, HN3, H4 and the new H3 90° and H3 140°
Every imaginable mixer function is available in these menus.
A special feature is the new form of variable pushrod travel compensation for the H3 and H4 types. A common problem concerns unequal travels, which can result in servo damage long-term when travels are fairly large or asymmetrical; this function eliminates the problem. The speed of the pitch-axis (elevator) function can also be adjusted, in order to avoid timing differences when the HR / N3 120° linkage type is used. Integral virtual swashplate rotation. Annular swashplate mixer for 3-D pilots.
